Training Dates

  • Training is an important part of your MISTI experience. All trainings are considered mandatory, unless you have something you absolutely cannot miss. If you must miss a training session, you will be responsible to complete and submit make-up work.
  • Working with MISTI:
    • Respond in a time-sensitive manner
    • Be clear if your plans change at any stage. If you have questions, thoughts, or concerns you should address these with MISTI ASAP.
    • Key factors for internship success: prepare, be proactive, be professional, and engage!

Direct Deposit

  • All fund disbursement and reimbursement will come to your account linked with your direct deposit. You must ensure that direct deposit is properly set up.
  • How to Set Up Direct Deposit

• Visit atlas.mit.edu
• Click ABOUT ME on the top red bar
• Under “Money Matters” section on the left click DIRECT DEPOSIT PREFERENCES
• Enter the last 4 digits of your SSN – click green Submit button.

• Under expense reimbursements click the “SET PREFERENCES” green button on the right side
• Under choose payment method, click Bank Transfer and enter the following information: bank account (main or new); account type (checking/saving); routing number; account number
